After months of planning, painting, sculpting, and dreaming, the time has finally come—WILD, my solo exhibition at the Alberta Society of Artists, opens this Saturday, July 6, 2024! I’m feeling incredibly proud and excited to share this body of work with you.

The installation took two full days and involved a tremendous amount of effort—and heart. We hung 24 paintings across the gallery walls and carefully placed 12 sculptures on plinths throughout the space. I also created a dedicated area featuring a unique visual display about the exhibition, with framed information panels I designed to give visitors a deeper look into the themes, my process, and the inspiration behind WILD. It’s been a labour of love—and one of the most meaningful creative experiences of my career.

In addition to creating the artworks, I also designed all the promotional materials for the exhibition—including the poster, digital graphics, and signage throughout the gallery. It was important to me that every visual element reflected the spirit of WILD, from the typography to the layout and color choices. As both an artist and a graphic designer, I loved the challenge of crafting a cohesive visual identity for the show that would invite viewers in and deepen their experience.

If you’re in or around Calgary, I would love for you to visit. The exhibition runs from July 6 to August 31, 2024, and the gallery is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM. The opening reception will take place on Saturday, July 20 from 2–5 PM, and all are welcome to attend—no registration needed. Come say hello, see the work in person, and celebrate this exciting milestone with me.
