With just a few weeks left in our exhibitions at the Alberta Society of Artists, fellow artist Misty Ring and I warmly invite you to a special Meet the Artists event on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.

Misty and I have been exhibiting side-by-side at ASA this summer—she in the Mezzanine Gallery with her solo exhibition Celebrating Our Backyard, and I in the Main Gallery with my solo exhibition WILD. It has been such a joy to share the space, the energy, and the experience with another artist whose work also reflects a deep appreciation for the natural world.

This upcoming event is your chance to meet both of us in person, ask questions, hear about our creative processes, and experience the work in a more personal and meaningful way. Whether you're curious about the stories behind the pieces or simply want to connect with local artists, we’d love to welcome you.

The exhibitions will be open throughout the event, and both of us will be available for conversation and informal tours. Light refreshments, snacks, and beverages will be provided, so feel free to stay a while and enjoy a relaxed, art-filled afternoon.

Admission is free, everyone is welcome, and no RSVP is required. Whether you’ve already visited or have been meaning to drop by, this is the perfect opportunity to see the work again—or for the first time—and celebrate the final weeks of our exhibitions with us. We hope to see you there!
