I had the privilege of participating in the Calgary Artist Studio Tour (CAST)—a city-wide event that opened the doors of over 100 local artists to the public. From May 2–4, I exhibited at Canopy Studios (1723 9 St SW, Calgary) alongside five incredibly talented artists in a beautifully curated shared space. I’m especially grateful to Kim Webb for her generosity in welcoming us into this inspiring venue.

Over the course of three meaningful days, I connected with so many visitors—art lovers, collectors, and new friends. It was a joy to share the stories behind my paintings and sculptures, to talk about the process that shapes each piece, and to witness those quiet, personal moments when something truly resonated. The warmth, generosity, and creative exchange made the experience unforgettable.

As an extra special moment, Leo—my dog and companion of 12 years—made an appearance on Saturday afternoon, adding even more heart to the day. It was a truly memorable weekend, and I left feeling both grounded and uplifted by the sense of community that surrounded us. My heartfelt thanks to the CAST organizers for putting together such a thoughtful and inspiring event.
